Trenton Rail Station

Katherine Hackl Public Art - Trenton Rail Station

“Nature in the City” is the tile installation in the newly renovated Trenton NJ Train Station that explores the capital city along the Delaware river with curious scenes of wildlife ranging from the everyday to the extraordinary. The tile panels fill the Wallenberg and the Walnut Street entrances to the station with scenes of the natural environment within the city of Trenton. These images are meant to illustrate the ways in which the environments of people and the natural world of plants and animals overlap and affect one another.
