Edison Rail Station

The Edison Rail Station in Edison, NJ has two major tile mosaic installations on either side of the front entry steps. The imagery highlights some of the area's natural landscapes and wildlife, focusing on Edison's proximity to the Raritan river and the beautiful wooded Roosevelt Park. The river is an important host to a large variety of natural life, and to birds in particular. This installation is a combination of tile mosaics including red oak leaves and a variety of birds, as well as hand painted tile murals illustrating the regional landscapes.
