Batsto State Park

The Batsto State Park Visitor's Center underwent major renovations in 2004-2005. Among the new additions is Katherine Hackl's tile and cast iron installation illustrating regional Pinelands scenes. The cast iron silhouettes depict the historic industries particular to Batsto villiage. Katherine was selected by, and worked in coordination with, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the Department of Design and Construction, and El Taller Collaborativo Architechts.
